Megan Wheless
Megan J. Wheless is an author and educator living in Northern Illinois. Her creative nonfiction essays, short stories, and poetry have been published in numerous literary journals such as Foliate Oak, Life in 10 Minutes, and Euphemism. She has a degree in English from Illinois State University and a Master’s in Applied Linguistics from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. Prior to focusing on her writing career, Megan spent nearly twenty years as a high school English teacher in Southwestern Illinois. She credits her students and their lively discussions of literature and the craft of writing as her biggest influence as a writer.
